10月末からはじまる新作展の準備中。
今回並ぶ新作はちょっと違うことになりそう。

きのう手を止めておいた制作途中のものを、あさアトリエ入りしたら
あたま働いていない状態ですぐ眺める。
いい悪いがすぐわかる。あさは正しくいつも助けられます。


I have the habit of looking ealry morning on the day before in production.
and then I grasp immediately good or bad of work last night.
It seems an effect on under half asleep conditions.
I can do correct judgement every morning and,always it time help me.

先日納めたオーダーリング。

This ring was handed over a few days ago to the client.
We recommend the small charm on the palm side.

神保町にある竹尾見本帳本店で行われていた「紙とグラフィックデザイン 八木保の選択眼」へ行ってきました。（ちょっと前ですが。）
展示内容ははしょりますが、強く印象的だったのが展示物＃１の親から授かった命名紙。
世代から世代へ繫げていけるもの。
もの作りの基本に思います。


A few days ago, I went to Tamotsu Yagi: An Exibition on Paper & Graphic Desigin In Takeo Mihonchou near Jimbocho station. I felt the most impressive part of the exhibition was the calligraphy his parents made when he was born. Simple, yet beautiful!

I think that those who are able to keep traditions alive from one generation to the other, understand the meaning of craftsmanship. It's the basis for making things.
